Penguins!
Waddle, stretch, and breathe like a penguin! These penguin-themed yoga and mindfulness activities invite kids to explore movement, balance, and calming breath through imaginative play. Perfect for yoga teachers, parents, and educators looking for fun, developmentally supportive movement and mindfulness ideas for children.
Spring!
Spring is the perfect time to talk about growth. In both a physical and mental sense, kids are growing and learning new things all the time, which can be really exciting… and also overwhelming and stressful.
We can help our students or children feel safe, calm, and grounded through breath work, meditation, and mindfulness.
Gratitude!
You probably already know that the feelings of gratitude and joy often go hand in hand. When we express and receive gratitude, our brains release dopamine and serotonin, neurotransmitters that lift our mood immediately! The more we practice having an attitude of gratitude, the more our brains learn to recognize and focus on it, making it second nature, and cultivating an enduring grateful and positive nature within ourselves.
Halloween!
I love October 🍂 I love the weather, the cozy vibes, the changing leaves, and of course, Halloween! Which means that this month’s yoga classes for little yogis are full of fun and spooky music, games, and stories… and I’d love to share some of those with you!
