Reiki (pronounced ray-key) sessions offer you the time and space to slow down, soften your nervous system, and reconnect with yourself.

Whether you’re navigating a challenging time, feeling overwhelmed or energetically depleted, or simply craving deep rest, Reiki hits the pause button, and helps you reset.

What is Reiki?

The practice of Reiki was originally developed in Japan, and has been used around the world for over 100 years. It’s a non-invasive, energetic practice that gently supports our subtle body, and our own natural ability to heal and restore balance.

The word β€œReiki” is commonly translated as:

Rei: universal

Ki: vital life force energy which flows through all things

Reiki is this life force energy, and when we practice Reiki, we mean that someone who has been attuned to it is channeling energy through themselves and to you. That energy can then flow through your body, moving to all the places that it’s needed, and supporting your body, mind, and spirit.

When our energy is balanced, we tend to feel more grounded, calm, and capable of managing life’s daily stressors. When it’s depleted or disrupted, we might experience more stress and stress related illnesses, mental and physical fatigue, and emotional overwhelm.

At its core, Reiki recognizes that we are more than just our physical bodies. It works to balance and cleanse your energetic body, and to support your nervous system, helping shift you out of fight-or-flight and into rest-and-repair. It’s not about β€œfixing” you β€” it’s about supporting your body and energy, so that they can do what they already know how to do.

What happens in a Reiki session?

Jasmine draws on her background in yoga and mindfulness to create Reiki sessions that are meant to be calming, supportive, and rooted in nervous system support. We want you to feel safe, empowered, and cared for every step of the way.

When you book a session, you’ll be sent an intake form inviting you to share things like your previous experiences with Reiki, goals for your session, and how we can best prepare our space to support you. When you arrive, we’ll chat a little bit, revisiting your goals and answering questions.

Then we’ll get you nice and comfortable β€” your intake form will also ask if you’d prefer to rest on a massage table, yoga mat, or in a yoga hammock β€” and Jasmine will begin to channel Reiki to you.

Afterwards, we’ll have time to talk about your experience, if you’d like.

Group Reiki Sessions

The last Sunday of each month, we offer a group Reiki session. This is a 40m class where you’ll be guided into a comfortable position on a yoga mat and then led through a short relaxation to help you settle. Reiki will be sent to the group, and you as an individual, from a distance. This is a great, affordable way to try Reiki for the first time, and to receive energetic support each month!

Private Reiki Sessions

Jasmine offers 45m, one-on-one sessions every Friday at 9a and 12p, and also by appointment - you can simply send an email, and we’ll work with you to get you scheduled for a day and time that fits your schedule. We also have several add-ons that you can choose from, including a relaxing Yoga Nidra practice before your session, or an intuitive card reading delivered via email afterward.

Restorative Yoga & Reiki

The 2nd Monday of each month, you can join Jasmine for 90-minutes of Restorative Yoga & Reiki. Restorative yoga uses lots of props, like bolsters and blankets, to help your body feel supported and relaxed in long-held poses. Gentle breathwork, meditation, and guidance is sprinkled throughout class, and energy healing is provided from a distance.
